Welcome to Sandy Community Website. Here, we hope you will find information about Sandy and the local area, including links to other local sites, businesses, attractions and community groups. In addition, through our 'Useful Links' pages, we have put together a whole stack of information, which will we are sure, prove....useful!


Our Mission - is to provide as much local information as possible to those who visit this site in search of facts and details about Sandy, its' citizens, history and facilities as possible. As with other community based sites, we rely on local groups and organisations to keep us updated with news of events, changes in personnel, location or timings. For non-profit organisations and clubs, the information is posted free and so there is no excuse for out-of-date facts and figures that are no use to anyone. It is easy to get your information on to the site - just email us with your details and we will do the rest.


If you have information about forthcoming events in and around Sandy that includes a poster - just scan it and email it and we will put it on the site. (alternatively, you can pop a copy - A4 maximum size please - through the Webmaster's letter box and it will be scanned here). Please remember that it sometimes takes a day or two for information to appear on the site, so you should allow 2-3 weeks minimum advanced notice of your event - the longer the better!
